Marlon Marine Primer F is a water based adhesion primer for products of the Marlon Marine cement based series. To be used for priming of various kinds of metal, and between concrete layers on board ships.

The surface must be clean, free from dust, grease, oils and other substances, which may impair the adhesion. Marlon Marine Primer F can be used directly on steel and cement based mortars. For the application on aluminum or decks coated with a zinc rich shop primer, wash primer or another suitable tie coat is required before priming with Marlon Marine Primer F.
Marlon Marine Primer F is applied with a long hair roller. After drying, the mortars can be applied tightly re-seal container immediately after use. Advice on specific applications, such as use on aluminum or zinc rich primers, please contact Marlon Marlon Marine.
Marlon Marine Primer F can be used undiluted directly on steel surface before applying Marlon Marine based cement series, between concrete layer Marlon Marine Primer F must be diluted 1:3 (one part of Marlon Marine Primer F and three part of clean water).

Application temperature
10-35°C (50-95°F).
Drying time
Approx. 1-2 hour at 20°C/68°F and 80 % RH.
Pot life
25-30 minutes at 20°C/68°F and 80 % RH.
Shelf-life
Min. 12 months in unopened packaging.
Storage
In dry conditions, do not expose to moisture and freezing temp.
Packaging
Can of 10 liters (3380 oz) 60 cans per pallet.
